Anyone else vowed not to buy any guitars in 2020?

My GAS got a bit out of control in 2019, I haven't counted up how many guitars I got through, but plenty came and went last year.
My collection isn't excessive (unless you talk to my wife), I have 5 electrics which I plan on thinning to 3 (or maybe 4!) quite soon...

I bought one of the new Les Paul specials at the tail end of 2019, which was a lot of money for me. I'm very happy with it, and have come to the conclusion I can cope with 'just 3' guitars that I love in equal measures (yeah right [emoji16]) so I will be selling an Epiphone Les Paul goldtop and breaking a partscaster (maybe).

This will leave me with the Gibson Special (2 x p90), a Gordon Smith (2 x humbucker), and an Epiphone 57 reissue junior (1 X p90)...I couldn't part with any of these and between them they do everything I need. It's taken a long time to find 3 guitars that I genuinely adore, and I should be more than happy with them.

Now I know what you're all going to say...I need a Telecaster... And I may still keep the partscaster, although it's based on a deluxe but has 90s instead of WRHBs... I don't need 2 dual p90 guitars so if I keep it will put WRHBs of some description in it. Please don't tell me I need a traditional Tele, I'm trying to ignore that, god knows I've been through enough of them (but secretly I know I do).

Anyway.... That was a really long way of me saying that I pledge here and now not to buy any new guitars in 2020. Who's with me, anyone? (Thought not) [emoji16]
And by all means when I post my next NGD thread in a few months feel free to point, laugh and refer me to this thread... It'll be a Tele I guarantee it

No vows but I probably wont.

I'm in the process of putting together another at the moment though but I have everything so nothing to buy this year,

No guitars in 2020 is a yes here.

    Studio gear is always negotiable.

Yes. I don't think I can stick with the program though.

No. I tried that in 2019. Think I made it about two months.

Trying to keep it to one “major” gear purchase per year, and I just got a ‘60s Fender Champ.

I like what I have, but if I get the itch I’ll trade before buying...probably...maybe...I don’t know.

You can't just say that, and be in the clear. It's a 12-step program.

No new gear at all & I have a long list of gear I'm selling.

Need stuff for the home much more than yet another pedal!

Generally speaking, I have no intention of buying any other guitars. However, if I'll find a deal I can't refuse, I'd probably go for it...

I didn’t buy any new guitars In 2019 and I’m not buying any new guitars in 2020 either. Now don’t ask me about USED guitars.:D

I don't plan on any. It's not a big deal because I don't want any more guitars.

I have one for sale, which when it goes will free up space for a LP Special.

It's the only guitar change I envisage this year.

I bought 7 in 2019 - including one at the tail end of December that hasn't even been delivered yet. It is my intention to NOT buy any more guitars in 2020, but I don't know if I can make it that long with all the deals I keep running into. That said - 2020 is my "self proclaimed" YOTA (Year of the Amp). Planning on picking up at least two, probably 3, maybe 4... What can I say, it's a sickness...
