    Do you have the cash?
Do you have any other higher priorities?
Have you played it and love it?
    What makes you want it?

I went through this a while ago with an ES-335. In the end, I decided it was needless and misplaced gear lust. I have other guitars that I like a lot and the ES would never be one of my primary guitars. I damn sure wanted it but I passed.
I used to have a bucket list of guitars. I acquired all but two of them but most are gone now.

Looks awsome do it. My wife nearly left me after my last purchase so i can't get any more gear for a while. Maybe you buying this beautiful guitar will help sooth my cravings

When I think about what a Telecaster is made of, the labor involved ( minimal) and the whole 'assembly line' ethic ( Leo's and others'...) surrounding its creation, I can't even process spending $2,000 on a Tele.

    * $700 is the most $$ I've ever spent on a guitar, '93 Martin

Cash, yes. I'm a thin C kind of guy, and I prefer a straight 9.5"-10" radius. So, right there I might have an issue.

Real Fenders are real nice. Really. If you can swing it, go for it.

$2k for a 7.25" radius fingerboard and 21 frets? Nope. Not me.

A guy in my dad's band played a 335 with a bigsby through a Super Reverb. That was the tone of tone man.

That's were I have an issue. But, it's that name on the headstock. Something I've wanted for a long time. I'm 43... I think.

    OK, let's review.

    • Limited Edition 2020
    • When they're gone they are gone
    • Sweetwater has the best return policy
    • The 75th Annv. models will cost even more
    • Vintage tall frets are great (after acclimation)
    • It's a real Broadcaster!

The U-shape neck is perhaps the most perfect neck in all the world. :D;) ...at least for me. Actually, I kinda like them all, so what do I know?

    7.25" radius. It's like a time machine. You'll feel 30 years younger.

oh, oh. wait, what's this "tall vintage frets" what? Never heard of such a thing. That could really blow the whole deal. I mean otherwise, it's perfect, right? I mean those pickups, the straight ahead 3 way, the brass saddles,

    Ok, I'm trying here.

Really, you could do just as well with the Baja (and the patience and perseverance to find one will also be awesome) and that alone would save you something like 1400-1500 dolla.

But also you only live once. so there's that, too.

Good luck, whichever way you roll.

    They are amazingly...overpriced.

Two grand for a factory-run Telecaster. Yikes.

Your actual mileage may vary o_O

Having “Broadcaster” on the headstock is bad rationale for dropping $2k, particularly for a guitar that doesn’t have your preferred specs!!

I’ve had real vintage, master built and custom shop telecasters. I bought one of these too. In my opinion it’s as good as any I’ve had before. The vintage specs make it perfect for me
