Nope, no brown switch on this model, I think it was on the more Marshall style designs. Here's my front panel. The notch control is very useful to dial in different pickups with different midrange responses. I love this amp. Usually using a Marshall 1965a 4x10 cabinet.Very cool that you found that amp! Many years ago, when I was just starting to getting into amp building, I decided that one day I would buy a Foxy18 kit. When I finally had the cash, I read so many online reviews of how people never got the order that they had paid for. So didn't dare to buy one
Didn't it have some sort of "brown switch"? Maybe it lowered the B+ or something like that?

I have a lot of deferred (due to laziness, mostly) amp builds rattling around in my mind. One of them is an 18-watt build with a Top Boost channel and a Plexi channel. Most of my other amp builds have mutated into BF Fender tonality, so this would be a good way to get some diversity again.
