Hi guys, looking for CNC toolpath files for a correct blackguard 52 tele? Anybody?
WTH does this even mean?
It is the terminology used in Computer Numerical Control (cnc) It's milling, routing, and turning in industry and now available for home diy-ers. The cnc program is a text file which is converted from drawings of parts. A toolpath is the cutting tool following the line it is told to cut by the computer. The technology has been around for 70 years or more starting with punched tape.
Search grabcad for drawings and create your own I guess. Gcode files are tailored specifically to one's machine.
Toolpathing is machine and CNC controller specific. Find or create the CAD piece for the design you want and then use your CAM software to create the appropriate toolpaths for your machine. In some cases, it's the same software...such as with Vectric applications...and in some cases, these are different software applications from different manufacturers.
