Yet another pickup riddle: does anybody know what brand this stacked humbucker is? the logo thing on top is the only marking on the whole PU, bottom looks like the casing was epoxy filled, approx. 9,8kOhm per coil.

    Thank you.

I think that's the pickup that Tom Anderson used to sell in his old company.
From the late 80s early 90s

I don't think he made them was just distribution

It might come to me later,

I can picture of the ads, it have Tom Anderson made bodies and then those pickups ,which he did not make as I said

any Guitar World or Guitar Player magazine from the 80s early 90s would have them in it

ultrasonic from Samson i recall, Bill Lawrence designed it ore was involved in with it.
very low stringpull and no build in attitude.
a pickup that, like many other Bill Lawrence pickups, is a part of the chain to produce that what you give it and finetune with all the other parts of the chain.
they have reel size humbuckers to and go start with Ref. 1 to higher where the pickup produces more output the higher the Ref version is
    hope this helps

It looks just like a Lawrence L250 without the blade

    i don't know it they have 1 ore 2 blade's, i assume 2.
soundwise i think they have a lot in common with the L45, soft attack, responsive to playing style.
but, there are a lot that see Bill lawrence pickups as high gain/loud, but in my experience this is more the l500 and l90 than the single coils.

a lot of players want a transparent overdrive, that is what Bill's Pickups are, transparent, no build in attitude ( like the G&L MFD pickups that had so much bottom i could not get out with the amp) but than a lot call his pickups steryl / hifi
no plug and play, but tweaking pickup hight, tweaking amp and pedals and make your sound.
    with the whole chain ;)
