Lily decided to take a break while I was plowing with my 4 wheeler. Heading back out to run the blower now. I didn't measure but it's well over the 1 foot mark and still coming down. Lily Snow.jpg

Not yet, but we were snowed in to be sure. The snow just stopped here. Looks like about 12"-14", and I ain't looking forward to that shoveling gig.

I'm saying "Uncle" I quit, give up, surrender. Thought I had maybe 45 minutes of running the snow blower but when I went back out the damn driveway/parking area was drifted 2 to 4 feet. Had to re-do that whole thing. Luckily a friend helped out with his 4 wheeler and plow or I'd still be out there. In about 2 hours I'll be burrowed in with a guitar plugged in where I can't see out the windows and loving every minute of it.

It's was at least 18" here. The news said it was more. Then there were snow drifts. As soon as I came in its started snowing again. I don't care. I hurt all over. My son helped some. I'm glad for that.

We in South Australia are looking forward to our first cool day in months ( 28C-82.5F) and that will be our relief from weeks of heat. Nights have been (22C-72F) at the coolest.
I'm tired of waking in sweat and I have air-con and an overhead ceiling fan in most rooms. Enjoy the snow people.

IMG_1221.JPG Had to dig my rental car out of the drifts here in Montreal this morning. Apparently us desert dwellers don't know what side of the lot to park in. :(

They say that 300 cars have been stuck in a highway since 6:30h last night. It's a highway that's below ground level, they brought in portable toilets

We are in the big thaw here. Local flood warnings around creeks and streams, because of how much snow is melting with rain moving it even faster. Still about 2' here.

About half the snow of Montreal, but the wind is calmer. Right now I'm chilling in the hot tub at the aquatic centre with wealthy ladies from about a dozen different countries. I hate snow days!

We ended up with 6-8, but we were supposed to get the 18. Almost gone now. By the weekend in the 50's.
