Yep, just pulled the trigger.
I'll way until I can see a few independent reviews first.
Saving up for a Rolls instead.
Obviously you need a backup, so two minimum.
I will wait until they do a 3 saddle bridge
Is these even a tele without the bridge plate?
Bizarrely in the Specifications is listed:
'Tremolo - Kahler'
Not sure I would believe those rocks are real diamonds if they get that bit so wrong, so I am going to pass on this one...
Well it does not say 'Telecaster" on the headstock... maybe it isn't a tele :0)
I always thought the original cabronita itself was limited use, like a dune buggy. Fun at times but not something to have as your only transport
100k for a diamond studded dune buggy seems ridiculous to me, like an artist is trying to prove that objects are meaningless with the juxtaposition of the diamond with the mundane
Doesn't it play well? Has to be enhanced with gold etc.
C'mon -just make a good guitar. Ridiculous price.
You won't be buying it from Thomann, because Fender won't let them ship anything to the US, because they want you to buy from US dealers. It's part of Thomann's dealer agreement with not only Fender, but Gibson, and many others as well. And, they won't sell you anything from those companies, even if it's a guitar that's only available in Europe, and not available from American dealers, such as some Squier CV Esquires and Strats. The really dumb thing is that Thomann still lists guitars from Fender and Gibson on their US website, and prices them in dollars, but when you try to put one in your cart, they then tell you that they can't ship it to the US.
I suspect Thomann didn't buy this off Fender, and if you do want to buy it, no one will object to it going to USA
If it had emeralds instead of diamonds I’d consider it - emeralds impart a much nicer tone.
Don't know... Do they offer relic'ing on this one?
Waiting for the Harley Benton version with cubic zirconia for £99
Does it have a good return policy?
That's ridiculous! Of course they got it from Fender. It's from the custom shop, built by one of their master builders. It was probably featured at the NAMM show in January where dealers often compete for one of a kind pieces like this, usually in a raffle.
