Any tips/rules of thumb for changing strings on a 2019 Fender American Professional Telecaster?

I have a 2019 American Professional Telecaster. The tuners on it are different than any other guitar I have. I think they are the Fender American Vintage staggered tuning machine set, but I'm not 100% sure on that. It's whatever comes stock. Are there any rule of thumb or tips for the length of each string to leave, prior to cutting, to get the proper number of winds on each string? Thanks.

Cutting the string at "2 tuners" past the one you're stringing has worked for me. I.e., for the low E string, cut it at the length of the D string tuner.

What they said. Distance to 2 tuners or 3 wraps is my preference.

Yup, that’s the way I’ve always done it.

I changed strings on another guitar yesterday, and didn't bleed at all. That's a rarity! =)
