Believe? Um, that's a bit strong. Like religion or something. Think there are more things on this earth than I have yet heard of? Definitely. Do I think I'm gonna see one anytime soon? Nope.

All I got is if there are bigfoot families hiding in them woods, I hope for their sakes they stay hidden.

Interesting article!! I try to keep an open mind and not dismiss things out of hand.

This sort of reminds me of the 70's comedy quartet called Firesign Theater... they had an album called "Everything You Know is Wrong!" Might actually be true!

Read their disclaimer. It's satire :)

"WNDR assumes however all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content. All characters appearing in the articles in this website – even those based on real people – are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any persons, living, dead, or undead is purely a miracle."

    Edit: oops, too late!

OK...I gotta admit a pretty huge disappointment here.

There were that many here who actually googled to find out if the World News report on giant bones was factual? The picture of a femur wan't enough?

We have some mythical or near-mythical creatures in Australia. There's the Yowie, the Bunyip and the Yarri or Queensland tiger. I'm pretty sure drop bears are exctinct...pretty sure o_O

hahaha...!!! that is near Onion quality satire. Still the same, I keep an open mind. There are Anthro's that have gotten some hard to understand DNA evidence and there are some interesting videos and photos. The lack of bodies is challenging and hard to understand but... we remain open minded.

I'd like there to be a Bigfoot. I've always been interested in cryptids, even going back to elementary school. I've read many books, I actually own a few. My favorite, however, is a novelization (aptly called Sasquatch) that ties in DB Cooper with Sasquatch.

There are a few factors in play here: The idea that many cultures have an archetype of the hairy man-beast, and the fact that we're still discovering unknown species. The archetype idea, to me, is interesting. Are we hard-wired to seek out humanoid cryptids? Cultures around the world have a Bigfoot/Sasquatch character, from the PNW Bigfoot, to the Yeti, to the child-snatcher in central Africa. Don't ask me the exact verse, but even the Christian Bible makes a vague reference to a Bigfoot character.

It's more a question of 'does Bigfoot believe in me?'

We will try to rationalize things that happen that we cant explain, which includes when that rationalization comes to the point of decision to believe it or not to believe it.
Ive Hunted and Fished most of my life in my state, Ive heard things smelled things and seen strange things,But I have never seen any thing face to face that would convince me that its an ape.I will have to settle with wonderment the rest of my life. And always carry a backup weapon in the woods!

I too miss WNN. So few sound journalistic choices left these days and Bat Boy was integral to all the really important stories.
