I think you may be looking in the wrong places...

I have two female friends in their early 20's; one is a medical student ( started her undergrad work in HS..finished pre med in two years) and a award winning jazz vocalist.

The other is a professional musician, working on a masters in trumpet performance.

If I notice anything about the intellegence of younger women, it is a tendency for then to keep it 'under wraps' because they think the average guy can't deal with it....most times they are correct.

I enjoy good conversation at breakfast. Your average 24 year old has no clue. And most of them like hip hop or rap music....

If it was Peter Cetera, it would do do-able.... :)

I'm 52, my wife is 40-12 years difference. We met 11 years ago and have been married for 10 years.

11 years ago, she had 3 little kids, never in my life did I ever expect to be raising kids again! 3, 7 and 10. They're now 14, 18 and 21. I love them all dearly, as if they were my own. The youngest is driving me crazy, but then again, I probably drove my parents crazy at that age too!

If the magic's there; age doesn't matter. :)

I've been up and down with this. My first big relationship was with a woman I met when I was 23 and she was 36. She was a guitar student of mine, and we would talk and talk. We were together 7 years. My parents really liked her. But I had to leave and start grad school in Chicago. She stayed because of her job. We stayed in touch for a long time, and I got an email from her last year. She's 70 now and seems to be doing well.

Man, that was the whole reason I started to play guitar. The Beatles had just surfaced and if you had that Beatle look and played guitar or drums the girls would mob you and I was all for having some of that.

Yet 87.6 percent of people believe themselves to be of greater than average intelligence.

Hey! Part of me resents that! I'd say about 3/6.

The other 6/6 finds it humorous.

Now, back on topic: if it feels good go with it...;)
