    Thanks, yeah I thought it was a conversation piece at the least. Maybe someone here might have seen one before.

    I’m no expert, but that definitely looks like somebody made it in their workshop at home. The shape is too original to have over drilled tuner holes from the factory. Check out the joint at the neck and headstock too. Is it screwed together? The other imperfections tell too, like the routing at the top on the back of the body. Props to whoever made it for originality!

    sort of combines guitar with dulcimer like features. Looks like it belongs in this scene:



    with bashful on the squeeze box and doc on the...wtf?...

    That is without a doubt, some kind of home-built abomination, made by someone who knows nothing about guitar design or construction. Is that neck plywood, cut on the flat?
