Any clue where this Celestion G12T-75 was manufactured?

The G12-T75 is Celestion's attempt at a Greenback tone in a higher wattage rating

Interesting! That would explain why I like them so much!

Although I love the G12M-25 and the G12T-75, my favorite take on the Greenback tone is still the Eminence Private Jack - it’s not an exact replica of the Greenback tone, but it’s close and I like it’s unique character.

Emi's take on the G12-T75 is the CV75 which is the same Redcoat series as the Private Jack. Had one in each of my 4210s, able to A/B them - very similar woody thunk.

The Emi was brand new but sounded a bit warmer.

Have you tried a Weber Legacy? I bet you would like it too. Great speaker IMO.

I prefer the Emi Legend GB12 to their Private Jack. I have not heard the CV75, but looking at the specs makes me guess that I would also prefer the Cv75 to the Private Jack, also. The CV looks to be closer to the Legend GB. Fwiw, the GB was Emi’s first go at a British type of speaker. It is more musical than the Jack, to my ear. I also prefer the GB 12 to what I have heard in modern Celestions. Ommv.
If the Cv75 does what I think it will do, imho it is a viable alternative for an application where a 50 watt Legend GB is just not enough speaker.
One thing a person can know....there are enough speaker alternatives these days to keep a person busy comparing...if one has the ability to afford them all.

Very cool - I tried some of the old Patriot series - can't remember which models, but they didn't float my boat. I was trying a lot o EMIs back then when the Patriot and Redcoat series was introduced, but the Private Jack was the only keeper. Mine has the original Union Jack graphic on the back.

I have not - I might give that a try when I get the chance.

Legend GB12 is another one that I've been wanting to try for sure.

Some of these speakers have a label that looks exactly like mine, others do not have "Ipswich, England" on it. The assumption is that the latter are made in China, and the former are made in England.

But after doing extensive reading online, that is not necessarily the case. People are selling the ones with "Ipswich England" as British, but I'm not 100% sure that is actually correct.

...and judging by some of the online conversations, this is actually a touchy subject, with some accusing Celestion of "deception" in labeling...

Mine are marked a little different than yours. They are from a 2001 1960A imported through a US distributor, whence I purchased from at that time. I stipulate that Celestion was in the process of moving shop from Ipswich over to China. They must have been implementing an updated serial scheme during the process (for tracking the separate lots and what not), slapping the new sticker scheme on what they had already produced in Ipswich, and probably why mine has a sticker in lieu of a stamp. However, the cones have a four-digit stamp on them.

I was going to sell them off, but have since put one in a 1x12 closed-back cab, and have decided to keep them instead, as they handle every genre I through at them AND save me on some ear fatigue. When I run my Marshall into that 1x12, it sounds big, and not excessively loud, which makes great for longer practice sessions. I read that someone likes these for cleans, they are excellent for push-pull EL84 chimey cleans, and do the deep resonant sludgey doom and gloom equally good.
