Just wanted some feedback ...my wife bought 2000.00 worth of stuff today...two O'kean leather sofas...I was leery of them and warned her...but she did it anyway...any experience with them?..I here their customer service sucks...I hope we didn't get burned.

Did you check to see if the cushions have 2 finished sides? Most of the stuff we looked at there only had one finished side, that's how they keep costs down. All of their stuff was too soft and too low for us.

We bought a fridge from them when ours died due to Maria. Jackie knows the owners very well so we got a decent deal. I have no idea about customer service/warranty issues.

From my experience most budget furniture stores are all pretty much the same. I wouldn't worry about service or anything like that.

I will say though that you probably can't get a quality leather sofa anywhere for under $3K - the leather will probably be really thin on those sofas. I bought one once - looked great, then my dog jumped up on it, and punched holes in my one-hour-old couch with his nails.

All our furniture is Ashley. It's not bad. Several years old now and it seems to be holding up pretty well.

I have an entire file on my computer regarding a purchase we made there several years ago.

Had a partial delivery, remainder of stuff to be delivered later.
Called regarding the undelivered items. Got a new date. Date passed. Crickets from them.
Call again. Repeat the previous process.

Call again. Repeat the previous process.

Call again. Repeat the previous process.

This went on over several months.

Finally made a formal complaint to the BBB. Eventually got some of my money back. Wife was pissed because we never got all the furniture in time for the family Thanksgiving gathering.

Will never shop there again. Every time we drive past the store I always comment to my wife that I'd like to back my truck through their front window as payback for all the agita they caused me....

We have a dining room table we bought there when we were fooled into a Direct Buy membership. It was from one of their higher product lines. It looks really good, it wears like crap. It's barely a veneer. Almost more of a paper print surface or something in between that and a veneer. If we spill something on it, it lifts almost immediately.

I think I would try to buy a sofa from Costco, just for the return policy.
