Love that Fender into clean Fender amp ( Super Reverb maybe?) T-Bone style, shuffle style

I played for a few years in this style band
( harp/lead singer frontman) in the early '90's, ( covering Anson, Duke Robillard, Little Charlie/Nightcats, T-Birds, James Harman Band, Jimmy Reed, Little Walter...)

When I auditioned 1992,
the harp player said:
" You know SRV right, you know Jimmie Vaughan?
Well, we want Jimmie Vaughan!"

I said, "I'll do my best!" and crammed for 2 weeks listening to (2) 90-minute cassettes of all this great ( new to me) blues vs. the blues-rock I had been playing.

It's ALL good music to play, but the cleaner stuff is 'cleansing'-
Dynamic and alive- literally 'groovy!'

Just being funny, because some people like TDPRI John feel that way about headstock tuners (and music stands!) (Not me....)

I know...hence the winkie.

As for music stands onstage...somebody please straighten out all those unprofessional hacks in world-class orchestras.

He's Texas!,
Once years ago the Andy of the Andy T band and myself _made Anson a Strat* parts guitar once, Andy felt bad that Anson's pre CBS one got stolen, Anson liked it and my pickups.

Hat's off to his ease of use with the MIM JV Strats - ( I have one myself )
Anson, just leaves them all stock ( even that, *No tone Cap on a J/V's Middle P/U_ )
+ Back-line rented amps.
But he makes it all work,
hes a man that really knows how to get his sound in any Live situation.
you can have other players with real CBS guitars on that stage along with him,
an he will be on the MIM Jimmy_V_ Strat
and one would be hard-pressed to tell any difference!,
he's got that MIDAS TOUCH.

One of my all time favorites. I like someone who plays to the song and hits all the right notes. His tone is incredible. I've heard him play jazz and he nails that too. He is a great study when I am looking for ideas to build up a solo.
