Holy cow, I needed a good laugh!
That's a good idea.
More often than not, the banks are the bad guys..........keep your distance.
I actually had a dust mask like that in the '80s, no clue who the maker was and I haven't seen them since.
Took felt refills or whatever you had on hand in a pinch.
We can thank the new world order of disposable products for this I reckon!
When everything is disposable and you need a brand new one 50 times a day, what happens in an emergency?
So US manufacturing of dust makes is bigger than Chinese manufacturing of dust masks?
Crazy that China can't crank out product!
You have got to consider fluid replacement:
So, whadda ya think? Too Flamboyant, or no?
DPA applied to 3M last night.
That's one of the funniest things I've read so far!
Went shopping yesterday, thought I was in a third world country... Bare shelves everywhere.
My wife made several masks based on a plan and pattern offered from Cedar Point Hospital in Iowa
There's a video there that explains the rationale for the mask. There's a downloadable pattern.
The mask has a pocket for some kind of filter. We used the HEPA filter rectangles that come with the bags for her Meile vacuum. I've seemnpeople suggest using HEPA furnace Filters or shop vac filters. We improved the seal on the mask by using double face tape.
I have to go out sometimes and I wear this, assuming it's better than nothing for myself and others. I don't like wearing it, but I do want to see my daughter launched into adulthood
This type of mask will protect you when you inhale, but when you exhale it goes unfiltered via the check valve so no one is protected from you. That's also why cpap's aren't good for light-duty ventilators. Puts aerosols all through the hospital rooms. The pink is stylish though.
If it hasn’t been stated - the wearing of a bandanna may not do much for the wearer - but will offer some protection to the public if the wearer is infected.
That is significant
My wife has a friend, Fern, a Canadian girl who ended up in Texas. She's an optometrist and has shut down her office, but she told us of another office, it may have been optometrists or ophthalmologists, I can't recall, but they bought a box of a 1,000 N95 masks. $21,000.
My wife found some TP online. Delivery date mid May
Don't forget to post yer HN-TP-D
My buddy literally went for a walk in his neighborhood the other day like this:
I am like this.... good thing I build guitars and have the suit and the mask.
