Bought this 2010 Les Paul Traditional today at Blackbook guitars in Portland, Oregon. While there this 52 RI popped up. Liked her so much she came home with me!! They had a 57 tele but slightly out of my price range or she would have come home too!! Lol

Wow! Beautiful Les Paul. I live in Portland and love it still after 30 years. I like Blackbook Guitars, they get good stuff there. Unfortunately, I can't afford any of it:)

I was curious about Black Book guitars so I visited their website. it looks like they have very few guitars for sale.

I haven’t been to Blackbook, but I bought a R9, a Victoria 20112, a Marsahll Sv20h w/ 2016cx cab, and a Klon KTR from Thunder Road last weekend. One of the best shops I’ve been in. Great ownership, great service, AMAZING guitars and amps. Well worth the visit.

I’m not a huge fan of Portland, but the smaller guitar/music shops are all amazing, and they do customer service better than anywhere I’ve ever been. I’ll check out Blackfoot and Strum next time I’m in town.

And congrats on the guitars! Nothing beats a Tele and Les Paul!

I tend to avoid Portland unless absolutely necessary!!
Sad isn't it!!! I used to love Portland, OR went there on business in the day and roamed the streets after dark with never a worry. Now, I avoid it like COVID.
Seattle has gone down the same messy hole, so I'm stuck. But, I will venture to Emerald City Guitars, Mike and Mike's Guitar Bar and Thunder Road....all great places to play before you buy.
Let's hope we get our cities back, right!

If you get to Seattle (which is in the same state of affairs as Portland at the moment) see my friends at:
Mike and Mike's Guitar Bar
Thunder Road Guitars
Emerald City Guitars
Cheers!
