Another New Older Guy

I've been visiting the site for a while now and decided to create an account.

I'm a lifelong country music fan- favoring the classics- George Jones, Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, etc. I decided to buy a Telecaster for my 50th birthday and picked up a Squier from Amazon. I've been playing with that and modding it a little- 920D 4-way wiring kit to eliminate some rough spots in the volume pot, new pickguard, new bridge, saddles, nut, etc. since August of last year. I like being able to play some of the music that I've been listening to all this time.

I'm currently taking lessons at Sweetwater and really enjoying the results.

TDPRI looks like it's a pretty cool place to hang around. I dig the supportive nature of the site and figured I'd go ahead and hop on.
