I haven't read all of the post about JB so I don't know if this was ever mentioned. I was watching the movie Twins with Arnold and Devito and spied JB playing with Nicolette Larson in the bar scene. I'm sure it wasn't the pinnacle of his career but still good to see. R.I.P. JB

He got to be in a far cooler big-time movie in 1967 with his mate Jimmy Page, Antonioni’s swinging London classic, ‘Blowup:’

I have seen this clip before but not the entire movie and didn't realize JB was in it. I will see if I can find it....Looks like he had some anger issues to work out. I'm sure his tech skills have improved since that movie

The smashing the guitar bit wasn't Beck's idea. Antonioni was infatuated with Pete Townshend's equipment destruction (still a new thing when the movie was filmed in 1966), but apparently couldn't work out a deal with The Who's management, and so brought in the Yardbirds, and just ported over the guitar destruction to Beck.
