W have two GCs in my area. I happened to be at the one across town last Friday. I hadn't been there since the pandemic started. I saw the guy who I usually deal with and he said "haven't seen you in a while".
They had a pretty good selection of new electrics and I would estimate it was about 80% stocked. The bass section was about 60% stocked. The acoustic section was about half stocked and there were virtually no Martins. Interestingly there weren't a lot of used instruments.

He told me that deliveries had picked up recently and some stock is rebounding. We talked about the constant internet chatter about GC's health but he said he wasn't worried. This guy has been there 10-15 years. They expect their allocation to continue to improve.

It's nice to see people's faces again. No big music stores nearby to hang out in unfortunately but at least gigs are coming back around.
