Completely forgot I was on the list until I got mailed that it was now available to buy. Any fans or enemies?

If I had to choose only one drive pedal, the KOT would be my choice.

I'd say get it, if you don't like it you could always flip it for more than what you bought it for. Sadly I had to flip mine because I needed the money but I got back on the wait-list and this one I'm definitely gonna keep.

My name came up a couple months ago...I never did order it. Maybe I should do so as well. It can't hurt...but I love my modded pedals that I'm already using. HMMMMM

Does the KoT stack well with distortion pedals after it?

Quite well. The boost setting is the only pedal that played nicely with my Muff-style pedal. The blues breaker circuit of the KoT is very low gain, with unity gain somewhere around noon on the boost, so I actually used "negative" gain on the boost with fuzz boxes to great effect. The added grit on the "positive" part of the gain dial was great with the OD and distortion sides of the KoT.

Enjoy it! I sold mine several months ago, but loved it every time I fired it up.

I've been happy with mine which is a version 2 (has only 4 knobs and got when the wait was only 2-3 months). Occasionally I'll swap it out for a different overdrive but find I quickly go back to it. I like the slightly overdriven sound from the yellow side and (to me, at least) seems a bit more "natural" sounding than my other pedals. Lately I've been using a fuzz after it and think it has worked well.
