Yes, Rick is correct. The primitive light colored neck gives is a certain neanderthalic panache!
Damn that is developing into one sexy beast
Man, that looks fantastic!!!
Man! This looks so cool!
Thank you beautiful members!
Here it hangs after some steel wool lovin and a rubbed in 3rd coat... Workin on the neck now, sand logo oil etc etc...
Nothin to major goin on. Been doing the tru oil shuffle.
I plan to have the Barnbits done by next weekend.
Here's The neck catching a tan after sanding and sexy oil.
I think it wants me to rub more sexy oil on its back.
Totally HOT import
And to think Robin Barncaster calls me a dirty perv....
btw, this works perfectly for keeping Tru Oil glob free for wayyyyyyyyyyyyy longer:
I believe I paid less than £2 for the syringe.
Thanks Brains, I LOVE that idea! Where dya find such a thing? The kitchen doctor store?
Just good old evil eBay. From our Far Eastern comrades. I just looked for 100ml syringe. Lots of choice.
Good idea on the syringe!
I always immediately decant tru-oil and similar rubbing varnishes into smaller job-sized vials.
Got tired of throwin out 2/3 of every jar due to oxidation.
Even the ol trick of storing the jar upside down fails when its about half air.
Great idea too! ... I always wipe the tip clean, squeeze the air out, and store upside down... Itll last long enough as long as ya stay buisy ... Oh and only poke two needle holes in the foil when ya open it to get goin.... Like ya would a big can of Hawiian Punch kinda sorta. Know what I mean?
Givin some old tuners some love for the Barnbits.
How does the corn work?
Crap, idk thought that was a nice flower for the pic. I dont touch corn man, got the Crohn's yup.
However I did attend Cornfest '97.
Corn, liquid wrench, and a dash of salt?
My solution to lids that stick on... punch a hole and use the hook...
haha, I like to pinch a kernel and get the juice into the tuner gears... sweetens up the tone
... then what? hook a chain to the lid and the other end to a horse?
Well, done with the oil. The headstock face has a couple coats of laquer on it awaiting logo and burial
Oh, that the stained glass version?
What sort of pups go in that?
