Don't have a picture - but generally house keys, a tri-fold wallet, old man style, and a tidioute wall street knife with wharncliffe blade in 1095. Fabulously useful knife for opening letters, boxes, etc, cutting out labels for packages....

One of my brothers gave me an original Leatherman for Christmas maybe fifteen or twenty years ago.....too big to carry everywhere, but it DOES stay in my gig bag, along with strings, string winder, extra picks & cables and Ibuprofen. Gotta "Be Prepared"......

Was there really an episode about this? Or are you referring to our pirate shirts?

    Keys (left front)
    pocketknife (right front)
    wallet (right rear)
    bandana (left rear)

Smartphone (shirt pocket, if present. Otherwise front right pants pocket). In the car, it goes up on the sunshade/visor or in the little dash pocket.

I hate having anything else in my pockets. Sure, I have other stuff in my car (tools, lights, emergency kit, water, etc.) but the above is my EDC. I don't carry change, it goes in the change box in the car.

every day when I leave the house, I repeat my 'mantra': "keys, glasses, wallet, phone; keys, glasses, wallet, phone".

Usually, by the time I get to the car (20 seconds after walking out the door, having checked all the above-mentioned items) I will find that I have the keys to my wife's car.

I know I can't get far without my glasses... but sometimes I have my reading glasses, not my driving glasses.

The wallet and phone are the things easiest to forget.

But since I live in Holland, and not in the wild American West, I do not feel any need to carry survival tools or weapons. I just have to remember that wallet, or I have to keep my car ash-tray fully charged with change. If anything ever really goes wrong, I need at least enough getus to get me a beer or two.

Oh yeah - I almost forgot! I usually keep a handful of shell peanuts in my pocket for my friends, the crows.

I got a Leatherman Wave in the late 90s. It saw lots and lots of use. I had several belt holsters for it, depending on the occasion. I had a nice leather one for when I was "dressed up" :) It's still around, but rides in my messenger bag now.

That's pretty big. Do you carry that thing into stores with you?

I'm looking for a way to carry more things. Like a capo, some picks, phone charger, ear buds, leatherman, etc. I used to carry a lot more, but I got sick of feeling like I was wearing a policeman's duty belt. There was a time when I carried so much stuff I had to wear suspenders to hold my pants up!

Really, I think I want a man bag. It's a ridiculous social stigma (especially down here in Texas) that only women can carry a bag. I want it to be with me everywhere, all the time. So I think, for me, even a small backpack would be out of the question.

Me too! Just a car key fob

However, I actually carry a 'canvas' tote bag ( cotton or poly, not really canvas), wherever I go. Basically a purse

Holds wallet, pliers and string winder, checkbook, phone, bottle of water, 'cold kit', Ibuprofen, guitar magazine, gum, hairbrush.
Then there is one open exterior pocket, for current important papers/bills, Set lists, etc.

Social Stigma! Imma gonna sit back and wait for TDPRI to weigh in.

As for my bag being bigger than I need daily -- true. I could buy a smaller one but I already got this one and I'm cheap. (Also, too big is better than too small.) I've never been stopped or hassled in stores, but then we are a trusting people.
