I have 2 of these, they work great.
I found the perfect thing for me! A solid pine bench that I picked up from a Canadian Retailer. The bench itself is made by Springwater Woodcraft - they're also Canadian.
I'll eventually stuff some of my records and other guitar-related paraphernalia in the openings.
Beer crate. Except some pubs dont seem to have them anymore.
Are you trying to hear yourself better? I'd decide based on whether you are standing to play, sitting on a stool, or sitting in a chair. Then we know the height you'll need to hear the amp well.
Amp stand on an amp stand.
The stand acts as a backup for the backup, too.
That's cool looking, but that's hardly tall enough unless you play at the other end of the room.
It's just for home use. So for that, I find it works nicely. At home, I play seated in-front of that set-up. I like that it's off the ground but not beaming directly at my face.
Seated will work fine. I tend to only play standing up because I need the exercise, so I didn't think about it.
That's a good idea. Believe me, I need the exercise too, haha!
The best stand for a Champ is a Marshall...
The handle even gives it a little tilt back too...
