Ha ha, I got news for you it can cost to a ton even if she just has to shop enough for HER to be happy. Don't ask me how I know this.

All I can do is sympathize and tell you what an Alabama State Trooper once told me. You in a heap a trouble here boy. :D

An attenuator will never give you true satisfaction. An 'unpopular opinion'.

I posted a picture of my '73 Marshall and 4x12 several days ago. The wife is out of town. Guess what I'm doing this weekend. :)

I was standing between a Carvin 112 Monitor and a cranked VHT Special 6.
I was getting violin-like sustain when I stood just right (between the two.)
A Golden Moment with a modest amp.

Sheriff Joe Higgins in Huntsville Alabama, "You in a heap a trouble boy!". Notice the Saturn V in the background...still there today, but housed in the glassed Davidson Center. Cool place to enjoy a beer and bratwurst on Thursdays underneath the suspended stages and modules.

That same Saturn V used the famous F1 engines, tested down the road at Marshall Space Flight Center. I've seen test reports of 168 dB during full thrust firings. News articles reported broken windows as far away as Birmingham - 90 miles away. Now that's loud!

I didn't mean that in a snarky way. I have a little five watter that I love to crank up, but I can really only do it at rehearsal or a gig. Attenuators are great but there is no substitute for the visceral experience of moving to air while

There is nothing as satisfying as having your neighbor that lives a mile away call you and tell you it sounds really good over the hills and through the woods. It is amazing I have any hearing left.

What? I couldn't hear you. Did you say something? It looked like your lips were moving...
