i have a cover that came with my TMDR and recently i thought up something about it. computer components are damaged by cigarette smoke and dust. and probably other environmental issues. the tonemaster doesn't put out much heat. here in my home, i could take that cover and cut out a circle in front of the speaker, cut a small circle for the input jack, and a small circle for the on/off switches. then i could just put the cover on the amp and leave it there.

i doubt i'll do it, though.
Nice thought, but CPUs still heat up and, at a minimum, require passive heatsinks that need to shed that heat. If you partially seal up that amp, then that heat can end up becoming damaging.

I shoot my own Vinyl Buck. If in season I prefer the Tolex Buck or Doe if you can get a Doe tag. Then skin it and treat the vinyl by dehair, degrease, desalt and soak in water using it's brains. Then sew it with sinew.

OK, really I just use basic Fender covers. They are fine for scratches and tears. But if I had any sense and wasn't so cheap I'd buy padded like Tuki that protect from 'blunt force trauma' type damage.

I make my own covers since I have the materials and equipment to do so. I'll find my folder and post some pictures of some of the more unusal ones. Padded covers with the cordura nylon are great if you are moving amps around a lot, of course nothing beats a road case for real protection.

All my Fender amps are covered by the Fender-embroidered, ballistic nylon covers that come with Fender amps.

Same here.
Yep, me too.

Woe! You get to 3 on the reverb on the vibro champ!?

Surfy!!!

The only reverb more sensitive/intense is the one on my tone master twin
The tank on my PRRI rewired to handwire by Alessandro is even crazier. I can only get that one to a little over 2 before it’s too much. Oh well the good thing is that we can turn the knob down (or up) to get the right amount.

Covers even cheap ones are to me a necessity, we have cats and some of them in the past have thought that amps and the baffle grillcloth make nice scratching posts, not cool! Also a long time ago my kids used to put things in the input jacks of my amps fortunately it was small plastic pieces nothing metal.
And let's mention the concept of justt keeping your amp and or cabinet clean.

Have been using Tuki covers on my gigging amps and cabs for decaids. Have tried others always come back to the Tuki covers unless I'm doing more than local gigs and then it's a full flight case. Have a Boogie 1/10 Subway Rocket I have gigged heavily in small venues for over 20 years and a Zinky Blue Velvet combo Bruce built me in 2008 that also gets gigged regularly both look almost new and both have Tuki Covers.

If you lived in Canada I'd recommend this company.
I just bought a new cover for my Cox 5e3 and it is fantastic quality. It was their least expensive @ 50 Canadian dollars which works out to 36 bucks USD. Hand made on order
They are out of Quebec.
