Thought I’d document this here before sending it down the road. I bought a 70’s Peavey Pacer off FaceySpace because I wanted the cabinet for a tube amp build. It was cheap and broken. Found the problem quickly and repaired it. It was sitting dead for decades, looked like it had almost zero use and it sounded pretty good. Decided it was too good to junk the guts so I re-homed it in an old ammo can and made a speaker box out of a couple old ammo crates.

Very nice! It looks waaay better than most small amps sold commercially! I'd buy one of these.....and I don't really care for small amps.

Thanks for all the positive comments, especially Sparky2 - thanks for your service, our countries have a long history in the trenches.

It’s a nice light 45W head in a lunchbox size. I don’t know if Peavey uses imperial, metric, or whitworth Watts but their watts are definitely louder than everybody else. Past 5 on the dial and this thing’s peeling paint.
