Just opened the thread, and thank God Tommy Smothers is okay!

I kept hearing them say he was attacked by guy holding a replica gun, that when "operated properly" shot a knife. Never heard of such a thing, but I just did a search and apparently there's cheap little fake guns that have a knife that folds out.

Not now, nor did I ever find George Carlin funny. I know I'm in the minority on this but it took him too long to set a joke up, then it wasn't funny when he finally got around to delivering the punch line.

I watched a little of the clip below. This might be one of those things like I say about Jimi. When new, was groundbreaking, but to me sounded like all the other comedians I've seen.
