Another 1st of 46 burst. I bought this one from another member here. It’s my lightest Tele of my 3 by far. I gravitate towards the bridge pickup 90% of the time on the 58, which is opposite my AV64 which I favor the neck p/u.

Mine has quite a bit of finish checking.

I was looking at this one. I think I mentioned it earlier just didn't know if in that condition it was worth the price. I saw the pricing history with ones listed in better condition going for the same or less. Was just about to post the same listing as above by @TeleBluesMan
Looks slightly beat up, but dang, he’s weighing it at 6lbs 10oz...that’s super light. Even more so than most custom shop’s I’ve seen.
A LOT of the early ones 2012-2013 are beat to heck but if you are patient and wait they do pop up in good condition
Anywhere from 1900-2500 usd
I was looking for one recently before I got an itch for an a.v. 59 maple board strat
And… even Though they have guidelines on condition I find a lot of listings on reverb not exactly accurate, most are but some are subject such as “it’s in great condition for having been beat on for ten years”
Edit: the one in the listing above is average for the condition you will find these in
And proves my point, that guitar is NOT in very good condition, that is good to fair at worst
You probably won’t find one for less than this. I have absolutely, positively no connection to the seller.

You’re right. I forgot that you are looking for an AV. They are definitely nicer than the Classic series, but this one is priced low and someone here may want it. Around the cost of a Player new. Thanks for the heads up. That's the from the Classic Series line though and I'm pretty set on the American Vintage line '58 Tele. I've owned Esquires from Classic Series line. Vey nice guitars!
Here is one for sale:

Not “yours” anymore, amigoOh man!
Is this "mine"? The finish really let go!
I miss this guitar...if you ever decide to sell it.....
How rare are these and how have they held up? What's ballpark price for a good condition used one? White Blonde is the go to for me. Played one years ago and sort of fell of the radar.
Thank you for posting this link! I actually wound up getting one this past weekend. I really love this guitar! Maybe the listing you posted will help someone else. There is a beautiful one in very good condition currently available at Dave's Guitar Shop:

NGD American Vintage '58 Telecaster
Just got back from picking this baby up. Drove 4 hours down and 4 hours back. Great shape only a couple of dings, 1 spot of chipped paint and some stains from a clip on tuner that were there before the gentleman I just bought it from owned it. Not sure if or how I should try and removed the...www.tdpri.com
