    Howdy,

Does anyone know of the differences between these two bridges? It seems like they're pretty much the same except for the saddles. Would the Elite bridge be much of an upgrade?

    Thanks!

They are very similar; the American Elite has offset adjustment screws as well as the cast saddles, while the American Standard has centered adjustment screws with the bent saddles. The plates have the same mounting screws so you can swap one for the other. However it might be less expensive to just get some cast saddles with centered adjustment screws if you want to see if you like them better. It's going to be a personal preference thing.

Bridge plate on the Standard is a stamped (Fender) brass/chrome.
I don't think it would make a noticeable difference if you swop the bridge.
I would stick to the US Standard.
Think the bent steel saddles are perfect, looks and sound.
