All I know is that 300 were made in the Blonde, you might be right though, I havnt put in a whole lot of research about the blonde performers

Just a few more photos of my Honey Burst American Performer Tele at my last gig. Really love the guitar.

Nice guitar, congratulations. There was a post about the headstock on these lately, something to do with the headstock? I still can't figure about what the post was about. Any issues with yours though?

I've had no issues with the guitar at all. It played great straight out of the box. I didn't see the post about the headstock issue. I'll see if I can find it.

From what I gather he doesn't like the look of the headstock shape. It just looks like any normal telecaster headstock shape to me.

The American Performer HS Tele continues to amaze me. The variety of tones is very good. I can play classic rock, oldies, jazz, country, slide guitar, pop music, clean or dirty without changing guitars. I don't need my backup guitars, which are a Stratocaster and my Pinecaster Tele.

On the Fender site, it labels mine as a limited edition Butterscotch, do the ones at your local shop have maple necks?

I tried on with the Hb neck pick up a few month ago. I’ll be honest, I was underwhelmed. I thought the Yosemite pups were just ok. Maybe I picked up a a couple bad ones, but I walked away with money in my pocket. Which made me sad.

I’ve been considering one for a long time.
Wish there were Fender teles with U necks that had cooler colors than what we’ve seen.

    Vintera: sonic blue, fiesta red
    AVRI: butterscotch
    AO 50: butterscotch/vintage white

    that’s abkut it.
