Haha. Thanks! I've been playing around in Photoshop and putting guitars in the hands of players who never would've played them(or in this case, even had the chance)! I did a Chuck Berry with a Squier Strat today too. It's floating around here somewhere...

Agreed. As marketing photos go, it’s pretty good. Seems unlikely that the marketing photographer was a guitar player. He seems to be good at what he was there to do.

You could use these to play “rock” or “country” and your band will sound “good” and the “audience” will have “fun”.

In this usage, the "audience" is the other band playing the "gig" and the "sound guy."

    I'm sorry...screwed? That's a bit much.
I think they'd figure it out & most newbies don't start w/ that many pedals.
It's a photo taken by a person who doesn't play guitar, approved by a marketing department employee who doesn't play either...it's funny. I spent the 90's doing TV commercials, I can see where plugging the looper & distortion pedals together like that looks "correct". A cable running across the pedal board or underneath it would look "odd" to a person who had their first experience w/ a pedal board the day they took that picture.

Even the pedal order would be brutal.

Bet I could make those cheap pedals sound as bad as I can the expensive ones. Rock on good people!

Who wouldn't want a guitar made punctually by CNC machine with computer programming with a perfect neck with almost no defectiveness, for only $143!

Generic imports that also come in any variety of brand name. Probably not that bad of a product, while simultaneously being not that good, either.

I'm sure there's nothing to worry about, the guitar was made with good specification.

I thought about buying one of these to have around as a project but I bought a T-style kit instead for about the same price. One thing I noticed about it that made me go a different way was that the wood pattern is printed out adhesive vinyl.

And how soon until those frets are sprouting? How soon until it needs a refret? How was the wood aged? How long until the neck becomes like the blade of a hockey stick?

I used to worry about my fingerboards bending, but that’s all in the past, thanks to 3D computer programming.

Based on research I did, the Inyen Vina factory in Vietnam makes some guitars for Harley Benton and others as well as their in-house Ivy brand. The company was started by a Korean guy who used to work for Cort so I'd guess he know his stuff.

Cheap is cheap. I’ve seen and worked on enough of these guitars to have made up my mind. Even Fender had the Starcaster.

Ever been pushed into doing something you weren’t comfortable with simply because there was no one qualified around, and you were the least unqualified?

Upper level was okay. It all went south on the lower level...

oooh, I take that back. Those settings are at baby-sleeping, dad-has-to-get-up-early, every-pedal-is-a-kill-switch settings.
