Went fishing yesterday afternoon, and around dusk were going around a spoil island known to be a bird roost. I finally grabbed my phone and took several videos. Many species of birds roost on this island, but the thousands of crows that fly in and land, then take off, land again several times is amazing! I've seen this several times fishing in this spot but this is the first time I realized I could take a video! hope you enjoy!

Wow, enough crows there to be dangerous...they can be vicious. The biggest murder of crows I've seen.

I am a big fan and friend of crows. They are quite common here in my neighborhood. I have heard about the night-time roosting habits of crows; I see them coming from every direction in the afternoon, it's like they are stopping by to pick up my own local birds. They all head off somewhere to the south. Can't be too far away, because next morning when I step out the door, my own favorite local birds are right there again, waiting to see if I might accidentally drop a few peanuts on the street as I head to my car... oops! dropped a few peanuts!
