Craigslist in my area is absurd. It's like going into a hole-in-the-wall pawnshop. They are asking 20% above retail for used equipment.I have not noticed on REVERB a drop but on craigslist yes I have.
Probably a good thing too because for a while there used guitars were silly price wise.
I have a 1995 Acura Legend with 125k miles, leather seats, power sunroof... Why would i trade a nice working used luxury car like that for anything? I don't even think I'd trade that for a new CS '52 Tele because the replacement cost of my paid for vehicle (45k)is higher than the new guitar worth roughly twice as much as my older vehicle...
You know, I could be wrong. The new Gibsons I want are up 200. The used Gibsons I used to sell are up 400. What is this plummeting you speak of?
Seems like it, im loving it. got a gibson les paul studio for 380 and a late 60s 2x15 bassman cab for 100 bucks this week.I just scored a mint, never-played left-handed 2008 AVRI for $1500.

That just seems like a ridiculously good price for this guitar. I feel certain that this time last year, I wouldn't have touched this guitar for under $2k. I'm shocked at my own good fortune on this one.
