    ... Neil Young would be drawn to telecasters. Rugged, simple, durable, capable of sweetness and cacophony. But to my knowledge, he never touched them.

    No disrespect to Old Black.

    He's been pictured playing one.
    It was a 50's maple neck.
    It was in the Tonight's The Night era.

    Telecasters play too in tune. I think that may be why he never saw the need for one.

    Mr. Young Played a Telecaster with Bob Dylan in San Francisco at the SNACK concert in Kezar stadium in the Eighties

    Yes, Neil Young played his Broadcaster during the '73 'Tonight's The Night' recording sessions and the subsequent tour. I saw him playing it again in 2009 (I think it was the same tour as the one in the video Getbent posted -see above), and Ben Keith played it on other songs (with Neil back with Old Black).
