Check this nifty "over the top" B-bender; no routing, thats a good thing right?

Pretty sure that the guy who makes those posts in both the B-Bender area and the Vendors section.

I know that the Timara maker also posts there.

Looks like a great way to

    A) get your feet wet into B bending without the commitment of a Parsons style bender

    B) add a bender to your valuable vintage studio use Tele

Hold up the neck... unless they fixed it, it never came back to pitch.
Saw that at NAMM a couple years ago.

    Hey Forrest,

The bender you played was the first iteration, and my first shot at NAMM. It has since been improved quite a bit. It hangs shut without any trouble and you can choose your break free force by adjusting the pre-load on the spring. It also now has an adjustable throw, a quick change interval switch (whole/half step), more robust linkage, and an optional G bender lever.

They are available on Amazon if you want to get hands on with the new and improved unit!

    Cool.
Loved the idea. I made one similar with some of Tim Wallis' Timara Bender parts several years ago. But it didn't feel right so jettisoned the idea.

Are you going to be at Summer Namm? I'd love to test drive the new version

I probably won't be attending the summer show. It seems by the time I've gotten two people and the booth from Vancouver to Nashville, the cost is almost the same as the winter show.
