    Aloha!

I've been creeping around the site for the past few weeks while I've been playing whatever telecaster's I can find around the island looking to buy my first tele. I don't know when I fell in love with them, but wanting to own a tele has been an obsession for almost a year.

After reading too many threads, and obsessing way to much, I decided to take telemarkman's word and grab a Classic 60's MIM. I was stuck deciding between a Standard MIM (and modding the hell out of it) or an American Standard and somehow fell in love with the 60's neck and sound! Such a great guitar, no modding needed! I'll post some pictures in the 50/60's Club.

I've been playing for about 20 years and have musical interests that range from punk, post-punk, indie, noise all the way to jazz, blues and classic rock.

Glad to be onboard and look forward to contributing and having fun!

It's "The Call of the Tele!" It happens to all of us at one time or another. Same thing happened to me. I became obsessed with that awesome Tele tone and there was no going back! I now own 6 of them with more on the way!

    Welcome!

    Thanks everyone!

Yeah, got my first guitar at 12...it really has been a while. Now 20 years doesn't mean I'm all that good...haha...just good enough to have fun and know what I want to learn next. I try to learn something new every time I play...keep things interesting! ;)
