I replaced the neck and bridge pickups in my Deluxe Nashville Tele with SD Alnico Pro II Tele pickups.
I kept the middle pickup (Fender Tex Mex Strat pickup which is Alnico 5 magnet) from the stock set.
After the fact, I'm wondering if that is a no-no....mixing magnet types?

Is this (2 different types of magnets in a set) a potential issue/concern?
It didn't even occur to me when I researching/deciding on the replacement pickups.
I'm using a Fender SuperSwitch (5 way) to get neck, neck/middle, neck/bridge, middle/bridge and bridge.

    Anyone with experience/knowledge about this?

    No problem mixing magnet types.
If you like the sound you're good to go.
I even have mixed magnet types within the same pickup (p90).

Fender even sells some sets with mixed magnets. The Yosemite Strat pickups use Alnico II in the bridge and Alnico 4 in the neck and middle. Some teles come stock with Alnico 5 or 3 in the bridge and ceramic magnets in the neck.

Mixing is fine. Only issue is that Fender pickups and SD's are out of phase, so the hot & ground has to be reversed on one of them.
