All I know is that I have had two All Parts necks and I think they are about as good as necks get.

Allparts make some of the best necks in the business. I love 'em.

I just picked up my ALLPARTS TMO-FAT.Unfinished fat maple tele neck.I get these at cost so it's a really grat deal.If i remeber right it had a made in japan sticker on it.Anyway a really nice neck,i could'nt find anything to ***** about.Well it is kinda light for the thickness of the thing.I knew i could find something.I'm not sure wahat these retail for but i would think they are still a good neck for the money.

MY TMO FAT came with two RUDE surprises!!!

1- there was (is) a Plastic clear coat between the frets on the "UNFINISHED" neck
2- The Frets wore flat within two string changes -and acted like there was two shaving razor blades - running along both top edges of the frets - pulling on my skin when I ran the neck- I had to pull the el-cheap-0 frets and do a refret --

I addressed these matters with some2009 All Parts NAMM booth workers - and they said they would look into this..

So what was a bargain at first ended up more costly then - WARmoth Or USA Custom necks --

I just hope it was that one batch and you guys get a better neck then I did

oh yea- I had to reshape the back too - it was uncomfy as-is

    Don,
I hate you had trouble w/Allparts...Ive got 2 TMNF-FAT necks...1 I had refretted after 1 1/2 years, the other I'm still playing the original frets...I didnt have the excessive fret wear problem...hopefully they just got hold of some bad fret wire.

I'm working up the finish on my third Allparts neck in 6 months. They've all been fantastic so far.

I have been playing a TMO-fat on my pinecaster since Sept 2007 and with no noticeable fret wear... I use 11's and I play it a lot...
