..neither do I
My neighbors drone went through the back window on my car a few years ago.Did not know the guy all that well so I told him he could have it back after he paid me for the rear window.
I work at a body shop so he got off easy.
His wife came over and paid for the damage and said he was not getting the drone back ..
Now that’s funny
That son of a gun wants that drone.
He isn’t sure what it is, but he will try and eat it.
I generally leave alligators alone and they return the favor.
I know for a fact if you aggravate one he will aggravate you right back.
Here you get a ticket and lose your drone for harassing wildlife .
That's his version of "Get off my Lawn"
I have some acquaintances who are very wealthy. They got the father of the family an expensive drone for Christmas a few years ago. None of them had ever used a drone... it was just the "thing" to get dad for Christmas that year.
Christmas morning... They walked into the front yard with the drone. Turned it on. Began to fly it. Except that it only went in a single direction, and none of them knew how to control it... so it flew off... out of sight... and they never saw it again.
The dad of the family told me this story himself.
A friend that’s a real estate agent bought $3,000.00 drone for doing video of properties. He’s pretty good with it and has some amazing footage.
Before Maria he was doing an aerial of a very high end waterfront property. Something went wrong and the drone tooK a nosedive into the sea from about 200’. Oops
I don’t know how to put videos up but there’s a pretty good video on YouTube
I think it’s in Russia, there’s a couple guys up on a high observation tower filming
Out of the distance a drone comes flying in, they keep the camera on the drone as it goes to the bottom of the tower and hooks one of their bicycles
The guy filming continues to do so as his buddy runs down from the tower feverishly trying to catch up to his bike As the bike is being taken off into the distance by the drone
I want a drone with a FLIR camera and current gen night vision.
I’m sure that I could find Bigfoot, Chupacabra, all sorts of stuff, if I could just do a little night aerial recon around here.
I’m glad to have drones banned from all National and State parks.
Imagine Peregrine Falcons, who are apex predators in their ecosystem.
Some random dude decides to fly their drone into their “habitat” to capture them in video.
This would wreck havoc in their ecosystem causing them to seek solace in another area while completely disrupting their primordial instincts.
I’m an aspiring videographer and respect nature and people’s space (I fly my drone in open areas only high enough so it’s not easily noticeable).
It's a funny and amusing video for sure, but it's fake.
from the Czech Republic
I think that’s it
I figured it was probably fake, I like to stay open minded though, can’t believe in anything these days
Or.....is it that they really like drones?
I got an X wing drone for Christmas 2 years ago ,I havent used it yet , but it is the only purpose I have for the cell phone my kid gave me, LOL ( i've only used a cell phone once .I deffinately have no use for one)
As well you should IMO. I wish that was more heavily enforced. I think drones are cool and I love the tech, but they're often used by selfish idiots who have no respect or understanding of wildlife, the outdoors, even basic manners.
I have two family members who use drones regularly and responsibly, but I see cowboys hefting their gear in places where it is clearly banned and then they get pissed when you ask them politely to stop flying their drones 5 feet over your head and in your face when you're trying to enjoy a peaceful walk along the ocean cliffs of California.
Seriously does You Tube need another drone video of the coast?
You copy the link from the share button on YouTube and paste it directly here.
It should automatically view as a player.
There’s a video on YouTube of guys in Australia using a drone to fish for tuna from the beach!
