All Parts Electrosocket Jack does NOT fit output jack ?

Trying to finally stop the wiggling of this tele jack once and for all, but the AllParts Electrosocket jack does NOT fit the threaded part of the stock output jack in my squire bullet telecaster. Are some different thickness ? This is a piece I assumed would be universal and it would preferable to do this without having to solder on a new output jack. Curious if anyone else has encountered this.

Yeah I encountered it the opposite direction. Some are metric. Some ain't. It was extra annoying as I was going for black and had to look around a bit harder for the match, but I found it eventually. What you showed there nonetheless is more extreme than I woulda guessed.

Your jack is metric. If it is stock, I would replace the jack with a PureTone, which is miles better and will fit your US E-socket.
