...and yet, I'm tilting my head, like a dog just hearing something - is this not a tune from your least favorite boy band? Hmmmmm...

Whole bunch of choked up right now. Love that song. This version is reminiscent of the version by Evan Rachel Wood in the film Across The Universe. Beautiful.

    That's pretty cool.

I always enjoy covers where someone's creativity brings something new to the party. (Think Nilsson's take on Badfinger's Without You or the Foo Fighters take on Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street.) I wouldn't say this is better than the Beatles, but it is different in a very positive way.

For balance, I'm sure we'll one day see a punk rock version. We'll deal with that then.

    Great find!

Great. I automatically hear the high harmony whenever I hear that song.

Really nice version. We attempted that one in the Beatles band I was in for 8-9 years (Apple Scruffs) but I just couldn't maintain that rhythm guitar all the way thru.

I think I've always sensed there was a human being deep down inside that "blowtorch" exterior. We've had some spirited exchanges at times, but he's always been good-natured and reasonable. (he's probably blushing right now) And, I wouldn't make too much of any "conversion" yet.....he may return to his old self when this "thing" is over. ;)
