Holy mackerel, I had to play one on a pickup job one time 30 something years ago. The only amp available was a small solid state guitar amp and the bass had DEAD flat wound strings. I walked away with gas money (barely) and blood blisters on my fingers. But hey, exposure.

Apparently, it's a Gram Parsons song. 1968. He was in The Fallen Angels with E. Harris at one point.



Emmylou recorded it in 1977, and hers is a much more interesting and dynamic version.

It's a Gram tune from the International Submarine Band times.

Question: Did Music Man 410-HD amps in either the US or UK back in the day come with speakers sporting Aluminum dust caps? It appears that Albert's MM amp is a 4 x 10 model with 10" Al dust cap speakers! Or is this Albert's personal amp and he changed the speakers?

He sounds great regardless of what amp he plays through but his tone with those MM amps is amazing.
