one last problem, since its a custom neck and body
a fender control plate does not line up with the holes
so I have to drill the bottom hole out closer...should be easy considering
all else I did so far lol

and i had to shave the pickguard corners off so it fits around a p90
thats how the original was anyway i just used that as a template

almost done...just need a cream coverded p90...anyone have an extra laying around? :)

Yep. I've got two Lollars and three Slick p90s in the parts bin. If you are on a budget, the Slick P90s (anico Jr.) from GFS are ~$37 and they sound good. I also see Gibson P90s on eBay for very decent prices.

Looks great. I think the very first picture is sonic blue with spots that have yellowed with age. Interesting how it looks like seafoam.

im actually going with duncan antiquity...I like the colour (bone white) and the specs (A2, 8.something K)
very similar specs to my lap steel esquire (A2, 8.3K)

Interesting choice. I just put a Duncan Antiquity tele bridge pickup and a twisted tele neck pickup in a guitar I am putting together. I still have to solder 'em in, but I am looking forward to how it's going to sound.
