These shows give me mixed emotions. Right now we have a "purist" movement who want's to free the earth of man (eg. Greta). I think ideas like that is dangerous.

On the same time it is very interesting that more and more science is pointing in the direction that Maccu pichu and the egyptian pyramids is remains of earlier advanced civilisations.

What is happening in Chernobyl with the wildlife is interesting.

Los Angeles in the last couple weeks :

cleanest air of any major city - in the world !

Even more shocking, a friend of ours said she went 95 on the 405 - just because she could !

The CHP says they are giving out tickets for traveling at speeds higher than anytime they have records of.
Fish have returned to Venice, Italy, hopefully Venice California is not far behind.
The planet seems to be doing well, that’s a good thing.
The air at my altitude is always clean, but the last few days it has been so beautiful outside. Warm in the high 70’s low 80’s, this weekend most mid 80’s with crystal clear skies.
We had a wet winter which is nice, now we return to paradise. I’ve lived here pretty much my whole life and still I get up go outside and can’t contain my smile and happiness.

Watched a news clip from India last night.. A mother had been out showing her kids the stars..

she recalled never having seen stars since she was a small child herself when her grand dad showed her the same stars... she was in tears....

rivers have cleaned up with less industrial discharge into them....

the Indians too are amazed at the difference in their world recently...

Too much ignorance in this post! Greta Thunberg wants people to stop destroying Earth, nothing more, so don’t imply that she wants to end humankind.

As for that second part, slave labor built those World Wonders, not alien technology, as you suggest. Yeesh!

Humans are beautiful. Malthusian inclinations are an insufferable nuisance. At best.

Leo was a human. Long live humans!!

Blanket statements are insufferable nuisances . The thing that you hold most valuable would not/does not agree with/care for the thing you hold second-most valuable...o_O

Is that itself not a blanket statement?

If the thing I hold most valuable is a human, then he or she does have the capacity to agree with/care for anything else I hold valuable.

yeah it seems that some of the environmental turnarounds that these things have timelined actually happen a lot quicker that they'd though

Hopefully, when people see the environmental benefits they will want to keep it like that. But we know there's zero chance of that, even if the public want it.

We have thriving birds and wildlife, cleaner air, lower crime - what's not to like.

And a cooler planet means fewer, er, ...illnesses ;)

You gotta take the positives where you can !

What’s the point of an Earth without humanity?
Just the savage cycle of survival with no art or history?
