Adding a Bigsby

So, foolish question but for someone adding a Bigsby or similar vibrato to a string through Tele, do people plug the through holes? Leave them open? Hide your Tictacs?

Or is adding a vibrato to a string through Telecaster generally verboten?

You won’t see them and even if people do see the back of your guitar the only people who would even notice would be other guitarists, and even then nobody would really judge.

It’s a VibroMate Tele bridge for Filtertrons.

The Filtertron is a TV Jones. The lipstick pickup is a Golden Age. The Cadillac chevron is a ‘77.

I just leave everything - screw holes, through holes - you name it. If myself or anyone ever wants to remove the Bigsby, the work is already done.

I can’t believe I never saw that! I guess it’s been about three years since I looked, I wonder how long ago they came out with that? I almost went with the Vibramate kit but I didn’t want to deal with potential neck shims. I would rather drill holes than worry about that
