    Apparently, a drug overdose.

Sad. Reportedly, he was found on the floor in his bathroom with a needle in his arm.

I wonder if the death hoax was someone close to him, knowing he was going back on drugs, leaking a report to freak him out. Or perhaps someone was with him when he OD'd and left him on the bathroom floor, didn't call police, but blabbed in a panic to some friends who spread the news.

A shame and a waste. We just discussed this terrible drug in another thread at length.

Big bummer. He was one of my favorite actors. I didn't know he was abusing drugs & if that's the case what a frigging waste.

I will sure miss his talents no matter what did him in.

Truly a shame regardless of the circumstances. He was a great actor with a great amount of range. RIP
