I really liked him and I’m sorry to see him go, but he was gettin up there.
I really liked him in a supporting role with Richard Dreyfuss and Holly Hunter called “Once Around and the cop in Harlem Nights.
Anyway, RIP Danny, you did good.

Aw, he was a great actor. So sad. I didn't realize his age. Rest In Peace, Mr. Aiello.

one of my old coworkers just texted me and says he is conflicted... he liked Danny Aiello and is sorry he has passed... but, he also had him #3 in his dead pool and with a couple weeks to go... in line to win some cash....

modern life... it can get complicated.

    Wow, 86. I'd consider that a win.

I'll never forget him as "Tony" in "Leon: The Professional" - fantastic character in a terrific movie.

Well, 86 is a solid lifespan, but it's still sad to see a great talent go.

One of the great American films and he was nominated for an Oscar for it.

He’s one Italian American going up on the wall !

Also played the corrupt Chief of Police, whose baby got switched at the hospital, in Once Upon a Time in America.

    RIP Danny

I believe that Danny Aiello Jr is an actor/stuntman.

Just a fantastic story of coming in from outside of acting, just an ordinary hard working fellow, and just like that he's got the respect of some of the finest actors of our time. Because he worked hard and also brought tremendous skills.

There's some people goofing around, trying to be actors and they need to get out of the way, to make room for the Danny Aiellos. I mean, I sure hope there are some more, at least something like him.

My favourite role of his was Tim Robbin's character's chiropractor in Jacob's Ladder.
    As B(d)B says, RIP sir!

Back in the 70's I had a favorite Italian restaurant in Hoboken NJ. It was on the corner of 2nd and Grand Ave, and called Leo's Grandezvous. Just a wonderful, classic family run Italian place with great food. Danny Aiello was a regular there, before he got famous. I went back years later on a visit and HIS picture was up on the wall. I always enjoyed the characters he played.
