Love Adrian's channel, solid list here, couple of left field choices I was completely unfamiliar with and a couple I don't agree with but hey.

Saving everyone who just wants to cut to the disagreeing some time, his list is:

    "...Teen Spirit" - Nirvana
    "Boredom" - Buzzcocks
"St Elmo's Fire" - Eno (Fripp)
    "Coffee & TV" - Blur
"Clap Hands" - Tom Waits (Ribot!)
    "Maggot Brain" - Funkadelic
"Hard on Me" - Richard Thompson
"Train Kept a Rollin" - Paul Burlison (?)
"Waves of Fear" - Lou Reed (Robert Quine)
    "Cortez the Killer" - Neil

I offer this as an antidote to fretboard self-pleasuring.

For my money, the solo in Hoist That Rag by Waits is a better Marc Ribot solo.

    Solid list.

Top of my head, I'd probably add...

"Making Plans for Nigel" -- XTC
"If I Can't Change Your Mind" -- Sugar (Mould)
    "Geek USA" -- Smashing Pumpkins

And this one, doubt any would recognize it by name unless you lived near Sacramento/Davis in the late 90s/early 00s.

How about a solo made of two tones and it sounds amazing! It is interesting how he plays it - he doesnt move fingers on the fretboard and he doesnt bend the string. He is changing the pitch on the tuner. Solo starts at 3:18 (then the second one starts at 5:09). I absolutely love this song.

I have also seen them live two times + once when Paul Banks was presenting his own (second) studio album. One of my top 10 artists.

"Clap Hands" is my all-time favorite. I'm glad it made the list.

I've had Ziggy going in the car player for a week now, and have never more appreciated Ronson's playing, taste and sound ... I did see him back in '75 with Rolling Thunder but didn't know enough about him to fully appreciate it. However, I just realized that he's on Dylan's Hard Rain live album which is my favorite Bob ... raw and rockin'! BUT not meaning to hijack the thread; an "alternative" list:

The "other" Remain in Light solo, Cross-eyed and Painless
    Cascases, Mary Halvorson
    Segunda, Nels Cline
