Nashville Telecaster Deluxe ...

@ deputydog: Please don't get my first words wrong!
I think we should/can write in German here. But everyone who likes Germany - or was even born in Germany - should feel at home here and is welcomed to write in his mother tongue!
When my friends from England visited me some years ago they found it very amusing that most Germans switched over to English when they said they were from England. Even "German Turks" did!
Student from English speaking countries have big problems to learn German here because so many Germans love to switch over to English instead of teaching them to speak German ...

Wiesbaden?
Must be somewhere South? But everything below Cologne is "South" to me ...
I think "Ehinger" already is a "very Southern German" name?! A translation might be "Marriager" ... :D
No - I had a look at the map an "Ehing" is a town in Baden-Würtenberg. So the "Ehinger" is someone who comes from Ehing. The "er" means "come from".

Anyone from your family is German? Mother would be normal - but I think 1/3 of the US Americans have German origin.

My ancestors came from Poland, France and Russia - so, a real German!

My mother was German as where my three aunts and uncle my Mutti passed away in Wiesbaden about 10 yrs ago my grand father was a welder on U boats so no since my mother passed away I have no one to speak german with and since i was 5 yrs old when I left I have trouble writing german

@deputydog: we have three things in common, as it seems: Tele, dog, age. Nice to meet You!

I'll keep it in english. By opening trhis thread I didn't mean to segregate from the rest of the forum. Thought it's nice to see who's in the near by neighbourhood.

Do at least all German speaking/understanding Telecaster fans know my 250 pages Telecaster wiring compilation? It has loads of original wirings and custom wirings. There is a theory chapter, something about the bodies, necks, wood and colours ...
The pdf file is about 6 MB ...

Also: Bitte organisiere mal so ein Treffen. Letztes Jahr hatten wir schon eins in Herne.

Any Bavarians around here? I'm from Munich, the place otherwise known for Oktoberfest, if nothing else :) And what a surprise, I'm here at a beer garden having a beer while I'm posting this :)

My grandmother is German, and I'm from the German speaking part of Switzerland, so close enough...

Yep, from the Munich area, between Munich and Rosenheim. So I´m joining in too :p
