Could be. Found this video indicating she’s still winding to some degree, I guess just not for Fender exclusively.
She's from the Charvel group when Mike Eldred worked there.

Ah didn’t know that, would’ve thought she was lifelong Fender, at least according to the company lore. Anyway, the video I linked above has her working with another ex Fender employee.
Then again, I thought this Frusciante guitar was new, apparently it was announced last fall? Likely because I don’t tend to shop for guitars in the $20K range lol.

She did some winding for Castedosa not long ago.
One thing is for sure, she has said not long after retirement that she miss winding. She is still up for doing it as long as health prevails.
